Nigeria Business Visa
Requirements per person:
  • Application Form

· Form to be completed in black ink & BLOCK CAPITALS.

· Must request duration of trip and entry requirements (e.g. Business 6 Month Multiple Entry). This information must be repeated and correspond with both the UK company letter and the invitation letter from inviting company in Nigeria.

· Purpose of trip: must state applicant ‘attending business meetings’ only. This information must be repeated and correspond on both the UK company letter and invitation letter.

· Application form must be submitted in good condition; faxed or poor copies will not be accepted.

· Question 4a - "official" address is the applicants’ employers address & must be completed for the application to be accepted.

  • Photographs – 1 recent passport size photo.
  • Business letter – Should be on headed paper from your company (UK) should be addressed to the Embassy and must include the following;

· The nature of the trip: * The letter must state the applicant is attending ‘Business Meetings’ only.

· Duration of the trip and return ticket details.

· Written declaration that the company will take financial responsibility.

  • Invitation letter

1. Addressed to the Embassy citing the purpose, duration of the trip and entry requirements (e.g. Business 1 Year Multiple Entry).

2. The nature of the trip: * The letter must state the applicant is attending ‘Business Meetings’ only.

  • Passport:

1. Please ensure that your passport is valid for 1 year on lodging.

2. Two adjacent clear pages.

Important Information
  • Passengers are advised not to book their tickets until visa is issued as processing times cannot be guaranteed.
  • The Nigerian High Commission can increase processing time without notice when busy.
Additional Visa Requirements
  • The Nigerian High Commission reserves the right to invite an applicant to the 'High Commission' to attend an interview. 
  • Application form, UK company letter and Invitation must request identical visa request information (e.g. ' 1 Year Mutilple Entry Business Visa')and state that the applicant is attending business meetings only.
  • If current passport was issued less than 6 Months ago and/or the previous passport contain previous Nigerian visas then applicant must submit current & previous passport.

Multiple Entry Visa’s


May only be issued to travellers who have held a previous Nigerian visa obtained through the embassy in London. If the earlier visa is not in your current passport, then the previous passport with the Nigerian visa must be supplied. If your visa request does not meet these guidelines Onestep Visa will automatically apply for the longest term visa possible without contacting you for approval.

Non UK & EU Passport Holders


1. The High Commission of Nigeria now requires all non UK, EU passport holders, to contact the Home Office prior to applying for a visa so that they can obtain proof of residency in the form of a Work Visa or Residence Certificate.
2. The embassy is currently rejecting all applications that do not adhere to these new guidelines.
3. Utility bills or bank statements will not be accepted as proof of residency.
4. Applications submitted on-line must be lodged in person.

Nigeria Tourist Visa
Requirements per person:
  • Application Form – 1 form to be completed in black ink & BLOCK CAPITALS.

· Application form must be submitted in good condition; faxed or poor copies will not be accepted.

· Question 4a - "official" address is the applicants’ employers address & MUST be completed for the application to be accepted.

  • Photographs – 1 recent passport size photo.
  • Travel itinerary- Should include travel dates, hotel reservation and a means of showing financial support. Financial support should be shown in the means of original travellers cheques ready to be cashed in Nigeria (must provide £40.00 per day for duration of stay in Nigeria).

· If travelling overland, then a 'carnet de passage' must be supplied along with evidence of the entry visa/permit to the next country of destination.

  • Personal letter addressed to the Nigerian High Commission giving details of the applicants planned visit.
  • Invitation -From Nigeria (from family or friends) should also be sent with application. Addition information as follows:

· If visiting friends/family that are Nigerian:

· Invitation, addressed to the Nigerian High Commission must be submitted.

· Photocopies the information page of the inviting party’s passports is required.

· If inviting party is not a Nigerian passport holder:

· Above requirements + copy of the residency stamp or permit.

  • Passport:

1. Please ensure that your passport is valid 6 months beyond your stay.

2. Your passport must hold at least 3 empty pages with 2 pages adjacent to each other.

Important Information
  • Passengers are advised not to book their tickets until visa is issued as processing times cannot be guaranteed.
  • The Nigerian High Commission can increase processing time without notice when busy.
Additional Visa Requirements
  • Children must submit an independent application, including their Original Long Birth Certificate + a copy, letter of consent from both parents and photocopies of both parent's passports. Full fees applicable. 
  • The Nigerian High Commission reserves the right to invite an applicant to the 'High Commission' to attend an interview. 
  • If current passport was issued less than 6 Months ago and/or the previous passport contain previous Nigerian visas then applicant must submit current & previous passport.

Multiple Entry Visa’s.

· Written declaration that the company will take financial responsibility. Financial support should be shown in the means of Travellers cheques ready to be cashed in Nigeria.

  • Invitation letter – On headed paper and addressed to the Embassy citing the purpose and duration of the trip.
  • Cablegram issued by the Immigration Department in Nigeria.
  • Passport:

1. Please ensure that your passport is valid 6 months beyond your stay.

2. 2 Clear adjacent pages in passport.

· Application form must be submitted in good condition; faxed or poor copies will not be accepted.

· Question 4a - "official" address is the applicant’s employers address & MUST be completed for the application to be accepted.

  • Photographs – 4 recent passport size photos.
  • Company letter - On headed paper from your company (UK) should be addressed to the Embassy and must include the following;

· The nature of the trip.

· Written declaration that the company will take financial responsibility.

· Original + 3 copies.

  • Invitation letter

1. Addressed to the Embassy citing the purpose and duration of the trip.

2. Original letter + 3 copies.

  • Letter of Offer of Appointment: Original + 3 copies
  • Letter of Acceptance of Offer

1. Original must be submitted and be typed and have originals signature, cannot be scanned and copied.

2. + 3 copies of the original must be submitted.

  • Approved Expatriate Quota + 3 copies.
  • Curriculum Vitae (C.V.) + 3 copies.
  • Original Professional Certificates of Qualification + 3 copies.
  • Passport:

1. Please ensure that your passport is valid for 1 year on lodging.

· *The STR entry permit is issued to applicants intending to work in Nigeria on an approved contract.

· Applications not prepared as 4 sets of the following list of documentation, in the above order will result in the application being delayed.

· Passengers are advised not to book their tickets until visa is issued as processing times cannot be guaranteed.

· The Nigerian High Commission can increase processing time without notice when busy.

Additional Visa Requirements
  • The Nigerian High Commission reserves the right to invite an applicant to the 'High Commission' to attend an interview. 
  • If current passport was issued less than 6 Months ago and/or the previous passport contain previous Nigerian visas then applicant must submit current & previous passport.
  • Applicants must submit the original document(s) where applicable + 4 copies of each document requested by the Nigerian High Commission.
  • Applications not prepared as 4 sets of the above list of documentation, will result in the application being delayed.
  • The Nigeria Embassy will not accept incomplete applications’; this includes those who have only supplied copies of their qualifications. Although the embassy website does not ask for a contract of employment, applications risk rejection if not supplied with this document.

SPOUSES ACCOMPANYING PRINCIPAL STR APPLICANT:

Must also include 4 copies of:

1. Residence permit of principal applicant

2. Marriage certificate

1. Download & Complete Embassy Visa Application Form

2. Download & Complete Onestep Visa Order Form

3. Ensure all documents required for processing your application are enclosed prior to mailing; including your Passport (depending on service required), the Embassy Application Form and Onestep Visa Order Form, and cheque (if paying by cheque).

4. Post/Courier all documents via secure delivery method to our address. (We recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery).

*Mailing Address: Our address can be found on our order form or, alternatively it is available on any page of our website, on the left hand side of the screen.

Payment

Calculating Total Fees:

Calculate by adding Embassy Fees, including where applicable: Embassy Express Fees, and our Onestep Visa Service Charge, and finally the Delivery Cost (this may be variable according to the type of delivery requested; otherwise the standard Royal Mail Special Delivery cost applies). VAT not applicable.

* Please note: The amount calculated is the expected; approximate fee, other charges maybe applicable depending on the service required. Additionally, please be aware that the embassies fees often change overnight without prior notice, please read our disclaimer.

Payment Methods:

We accept all major credit cards except American Express & Diners Club cards, their will be a 2.5% Card Transaction Fee applicable on the total final amount. Our order form has further details in the payment section for card types accepted. We also accept cheques, which should be made payable to 'Onestep Visa Services Ltd.' Please note, with regards to cheques, we can only return your passports/documents, once your cheque payment has been cleared. Customers wishing faster visa processing are advised to pay by card.

Your Visa, Passport or Documents will be returned to you via Royal Mail Special Delivery unless otherwise stated on the Onestep Visa Order Form.
